Viore 7" Digital TV March 11, 2010 L. Martorell (Rockford, MI United States) I am disappointed in reception. Television shows availabe using just the built-in antenna are limited to just a few, and they are not major networks.
Awesome Gadget !!! March 9, 2010 J. Longen (USA) This little media player is AWESOME. First and foremost, it was not even listed or expected by me to find a QAM TUNER!!!!! I plugged my basic cable and did a scan for channels and there were the Clear QAM HD channels I can't even get with Windows Media Center. That feature alone made it worth the money but let me go on. I formatted an 8GB SD card with a Macbook Pro as MS DOS and added an .AVI file to test - played it flawlessly! I haven't tried audio files or images yet.
Simply put, THIS UNIT IS WORTH THE MONEY.
The only thing I would say that's a bit critical would be the way the antenna plug aims out the side so it looks funny when the cable is plugged in, and the speakers could be a little better.
Tunes in QAM HD channels over basic cable
Plays .AVI files
Rechargeable battery!
Great product here IMO
digital tv March 9, 2010 Robert Crutcher (Pittsburgh, PA United States) Came in handy during power outage here in the northeast.Need only to buy adapter to recharge in vehicle.
This would not work. February 21, 2010 Brian D. Thompson (Lafayette, IN.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not sure why but this would not receive any stations. I even changed antennas and still nothing. All other attributes seemed reasonable...
I like this little television February 20, 2010 Rita Davis While I did not purchase this TV from Amazon I wanted to comment about it. I've only had this for a couple of days but I am pleased with it. I live 25 miles outside of Nashville, TN and in the past, when using an antenna on the house televisions, I had trouble pulling in some stations. This was especially true when trying to pull in CBS, a major broadcast station. With this TV, when I placed the antenna near a window, I've been able to pull in 17 - 19 channels. I like the multiple functions on the remote control. I bought this TV to use this summer while I spend a week on a college campus in Colorado. I am sure I will have few, if any issues with its use. I am not concerned about the battery life since I will use AC unless there is a power outage. In my area power outages are few and far between. When they have occurred, they lasted a very short time. Rarely more than 10 - 15 minutes (thankfully).
